Wow!
Has the year 2008 gone by quickly.
We hope that this letter finds all well with you and your family.
We are doing great on this end which makes us quite thankful.
Especially this year! Unfortunately,
we began our summer by spending two weeks in the hospital with Ben.
He had a strep infection that started in his calf muscle that was moving
through his system at twice the speed as one would normally.
It was touch and go for a while and there was a chance that we could have
lost him but he came through it all in great shape.
We very much appreciated the doctors and nurses that took care of him and
everyone else that kept him in their prayers.
Ben turned two in November and certainly keeps us on the run.
He has an emerging comedic side to his personality and loves to keep up
with his big brother. He has proven
that a silly little thing like a severe infection isn’t going to slow him down.
Dominic is 8 ˝ years old and in the 3rd
grade. He enjoys school but would prefer
to socialize a little more than he is allowed.

In the winter months he plays hockey and is having fun with that sport.
Rapid City has a new CHL hockey team called the Rush so he and Dad like
to attend those games and spend some one on one time together.
In the summer he still likes to go swimming and hydrofoiling.
He was chosen as the 2008 USHA (United States Hydrofoiling Association)
Jr. Athlete of the Year and placed 2nd in USHA Nationals.
He also plays piano and was excited to perform a duet with dad at his
Christmas recital this year.
Bryan and I are doing well and keeping
quite busy. Bryan is still the IT
Director at SDSM&T and also continues to grow his side business (XTREME Foils).
Bryan placed 2nd in the Hydrofoil Nationals in his division,
as well as receiving the Innovator Award, and Ambassador of the Year for USHA,
so he’s having fun with that. I am
still with Riddle’s Group, Inc. and enjoying all that goes on in the jewelry
business. I also continue to serve
on both the Big Brothers Big Sisters and Rapid City Regional Hospital Boards and
I am thankful for those experiences.
Our Christmas picture was taken in our
boat. Unfortunately, it was in our
garage with the temperature outside being 0 (zero) degrees – brrrrr.
So, needless to say, we are looking forward to the warm weather once
again and getting back on the lake.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year!!
Love,
Tamara, Bryan, Dominic, & Benjamin
